Product Overview
The VR25 series from Vishay are high ohmic/high voltage leaded resistors. They are made of high grade ceramic body with a metal glazed film deposition. After a helical groove has been cut in the resistive layer, tinned electrolytic copper wires are welded to the end-caps. The resistor is coated with a light blue lacquer which provides electrical, mechanical and climatic protection. Typical applications include lighting ballast, high humidity environment, white goods and power supplies.

- Available in ±10%, ±5% and ±1% tolerance
- Temperature coefficient is ±200ppm/K
- Rated dissipation is 0.25W, operating voltage is 1600V
