The MAL212855109E3 is an orange radial leaded pearl miniature polarized Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitor with MnO2 solid electrolyte. The 128 SAL-RPM series electrolytic capacitor provides excellent low temperature, impedance and ESR behaviour. Charge and discharge proof, application with 0Ω resistance allowed. Reverse DC voltage up to 0.3 x UR and AC voltage up to 0.8 x UR is allowed. In general, aluminium capacitor is the most suitable capacitor for addressing requirements such as low and high frequency filtering and energy storage, which demand high capacitance values and power ratings. The device offers high CU/(unit cost) ratios, is small compared with other technologies and is relatively insensitive to voltage spikes. An electrochemically etched aluminium anode foil forms the first plate of the capacitor. An oxide layer on the etched aluminium foil that forms the dielectric.
