Product Overview
The XC6210B152MR is a 1.5V fixed output low noise high current low-dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator fabricated using CMOS process. The device features a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a current limiter and a phase compensation circuit plus a driver transistor. With a low ON resistance driver transistor built into, batteries can be used until input-output voltage differential is minimal and can accordingly be used for a longer time. The series is also compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitors which give added output stability. The current limiters fold-back circuit also operates as the output current limiter and the output pin protection. The ICs internal regulator circuit can be placed in stand-by mode via the CE function. In the stand-by mode, power consumption is greatly reduced.
