Product Overview
The LP2980IM5-3.3/NOPB is a 3.3V fixed output ultra-low-dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator designed specifically to meet the requirements of battery-powered applications. Using an optimized VIP (Vertically integrated PNP) process, the device delivers unequalled performance in all specifications critical to battery-powered designs, Dropout voltage - typically 120mV at 50mA load and 7mV at 1mA load. Ground pin current - typically 375µA at 50mA load and 80µA at 1-mA load. Sleep mode - less than 1µA quiescent current when ON/OFF pin is pulled low. Minimum part count - requires only a 1µF capacitor on the regulator output.
