Product Description
Farnell is pleased to offer a bundle comprising the STM32 Evaluation Board, an adapter board and CC2564 Dual mode evaluation module. This bundle allows you to work with TI’s best-in-class Bluetooth dual-mode solution with STM32MCU.
The dual-mode Bluetooth CC2564MODN module is a complete Bluetooth HCI solution that reduces design effort and enables fast time to market. The device is based on TI’s seventh-generation core to bring a product-proven solution that supports 4.1 dual-mode Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy protocols.
This module is supported on the CC2564MODNEM board. The CC256xEM Bluetooth adapter kit (CC256XEM-STADAPT) is a connector board aimed to help evaluate TI’s CC256x Bluetooth and dual-mode solution with STM32 MCUs. The CC256XEM-STADAPT board serves as a translation board between a CC2564 module EM board (CC2564MODNEM) and a STM32 MCU Evaluation board (STM3240G-EVAL or STM32F4DISCOVERY).
The CC256x solutions offer the link budget in their class to provide longer range. The dual-mode solution allows you to create products that can connect to existing or older mobile devices via Bluetooth OR to newer mobile products that have Bluetooth low energy. TI’s Bluetooth solutions offer flexibility with ability to customise the software stack as well as several hardware designs and third party offerings to meet broad market needs.
This bundle has a wide range of application due to its ability to interchange Dual-mode Bluetooth evaluation boards. These include Health and Fitness, Medical, Industrial, Automotive, Wireless Audio, Remote Control and Toys.
