The AT45DB321E-SHF-B is a non volatile, 32Mbit DataFlash (with extra 1Mbits), serial interface sequential access flash memory in 8 pin WSOIC package. It supports RapidS serial interface for applications requiring very high speed operation. Its 34603008bits of memory are organized as 8192 pages of 512bytes or 528bytes each. In addition to main memory, the AT45DB321E also contains two SRAM buffers of 512/528bytes each. Unlike conventional flash memories that are accessed randomly with multiple address lines and parallel interface, the DataFlash uses serial interface to sequentially access its data. The simple sequential access dramatically reduces active pin count, facilitates simplified hardware layout, increases system reliability, minimizes switching noise and reduces package size.
