Product Overview
NCP1252DDR2G is a current mode PWM controller for forward and flyback applications. It offers everything needed to build cost-effective and reliable AC-DC switching supplies dedicated to ATX power supplies. Due to the use of an internally fixed timer, it detects an output overload without relying on the auxiliary Vcc. A Brown-Out input offers protection against low input voltages and improves the converter safety. Finally, a package saves PCB space and represents a solution of choice in a cost-sensitive project. Typical applications include power supplies for PC silver boxes, game adapters, flyback and forward converters.
- Peak current mode control, adjustable switching frequency up to 500KHz
- Jittering frequency ±5% of the switching frequency
- Latched primary over current protection with 10ms fixed delay
- Adjustable soft-start timer, auto-recovery brown-out detection
- UC384X-like UVLO thresholds, Vcc range from 9V to 28V with Auto-recovery UVLO
- Leading edge blanking duration is 160ns typ (VCC = 15V, RT = 43kohm, CDRV = 1nF, TJ = 25°C)
- Source / sink capability is +500mA / -800mA, maximum 47.5% duty cycle
- Ready for updated no load regulation specifications
- Oscillator frequency range from 92 to 108KHz (RT = 43kohm and DRV pin = 47kohm, TJ = 25°C)
- SOIC-8 package, maximum junction temperature is 150C°
