Product Overview
Multicore 505 cored solder wires are designed to give fast and sustained wetting on both copper and brass. This can be demonstrated using spreading tests on both substrates under standard conditions. After 5 seconds area of spread is measured to form a comparative index indicating total flux efficacy
- Specially designed for Surface Mount and Related Technology applications
- Multicores of mildly activated, non-corrosive "505" rosin based flux
- Minimal amber coloured (rosin) residues do not require cleaning
- 62% Tin (Sn), 36% Lead (Pb), 2% Silver (Ag) Alloy
- Silver loaded alloy to minimise silver leaching from component terminations
- 179°C melting temperature (tip temperature approximately 320°C
- Fine diameter (0.46mm/26swg) - suitable for most SMT assembly, or rework
