Product Information
Product Overview
The MAX806TCSA+ is a microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit in 8 pin NSOIC package. This supervisory circuit reduces the complexity and number of components required for power supply monitoring and battery control functions in µP systems. It significantly improves system reliability and accuracy compared to separate IC's or discrete components. This device is designed for use in systems powered by 3V or 3.3V supplies. Typical applications include battery powered computers and controllers, embedded controllers, intelligent instruments, portable equipment and critical µP power monitoring.
- Operating voltage range from 1V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from 0°C to 70°C
- Manual reset input, backup-battery switch functions, precision supply voltage monitor
- Power fail threshold accuracy is ±2%, power-fail comparator
- Reset window is ±2%
- Reset threshold voltage is 3.075V and reset timeout period is 200ms
- VCC supply current is 50μA at VCC <lt/> 5.5V and 40μA at VCC <lt/> 3.6V
- Battery supply current is 1μA
- Active-low RESET output, active-low RESET assertion to VCC = 1V
- Voltage monitor for power fail or low battery warning
