Product Overview
The MAX806SCSA+ is a microprocessor (μP) supervisory circuit in 8 pin NSOIC package. This supervisory circuit reduces the complexity and number of components required for power supply monitoring and battery control functions in μP systems. It significantly improves system reliability and accuracy compared to separate IC's or discrete components. This device is designed for use in systems powered by 3V or 3.3V supplies. Typical applications include battery powered computers and controllers, embedded controllers, intelligent instruments and critical μP power monitoring.
- Supply voltage range is 1V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from 0°C to 70°C
- Features active low reset, manual reset input, backup-battery switch functions
- Power fail threshold accuracy is ±2%
- Reset window is ±2%
- Reset threshold voltage is 2.925V and reset timeout period is 200ms
- VCC supply current is 40μA at VCC <lt/> 3.6V
- Battery supply current is 1μA
- RESET(complimentary) assertion to VCC = 1V
- Voltage monitor for power-fail or low-battery warning
