Product Overview
The MAX5489EUD+ is a dual non-volatile linear taper digital potentiometer in 14 pin TSSOP package. The device combines a dual 256 position potentiometers and the control is achieved through 3-wire SPI interface. It has an internal non-volatile EEPROM to return the wipers to their previously stored positions upon power-up. It minimizes board space and reduce interconnection complexity in many applications and are ideally suitable for low-drift programmable gain circuit configurations.
- Supply voltage range is 2.7V to 5.25V (single supply operation)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Wiper position stored in non-volatile memory (EEPROM) and recalled upon power-up
- Reliability of 200,000 wiper store cycles
- Reliability of 50 years wiper data retention
- ±0.5 LSB DNL (differential nonlinearity) in voltage divider mode
- ±1 LSB INL (integral nonlinearity) in voltage divider mode
