Product Description
Honeywell HumidIcon™ Digital Humidity/Temperature Sensors, HIH9000 Series, are digital output-type relative humidity (RH)and temperature sensors combined in the same package. These sensors provide an accuracy level of ±1.7 %RH.
Honeywell’s Humidicon Series is offered with several packaging variations, offering a choice in housing style (SIP 4-Pin or SOIC-8 SMD), filter (hydrophobic filter or no filter), output (I2C or SPI) and packaging, (tape and boxed, tape and reel or samples on tape) – packaging options may differ by model/series and include the following:
HumidIcon HIH9000 Series ± 1.7 %RH
HumidIcon HIH8000 Series ±2.0 %RH
HumidIcon HIH 7000 Series ±3.0 %RH
HumidIcon HIH 6100 Series ±4.0 %RH
HumidIcon HIH 6000 Series ±4.5 %RH
Long-term stability
Industry-leading RH of 1.2 % over five years. This minimises system performance issues, helps support system uptime and eliminates the need to recalibrate frequently.
Energy efficiency
Low supply voltage (2.3 Vdc) and low power consumption (1 μA in sleep mode ) allow use in low energy and wireless-compatible applications, helping maximise battery life, reduce power supply size, enhance energy-savings and reduce the application’s overall weight.
Typical applications
Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, air compressors, meteorology, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, telecom cabinets, agricultural incubators/microenvironments, respiratory therapy and medical incubators/microenvironments.
