Product Overview
AZ1117IH-3.3TRG1 is a low-dropout three-terminal regulator optimized for a low voltage where transient response and minimum input voltage are critical. The device provides current-limit and thermal-shutdown features. Its circuit includes a trimmed bandgap reference to assure output voltage accuracy of within ±1%. On-chip thermal shutdown provides protection against a combination of high current and ambient temperature that would create excessive junction temperature. Applications include USB devices, add-on cards, DVD players, and PC motherboards.

- Quiescent current is 4mA typ at IOUT = 0, VIN ≤ 10V, IOUT = 10mA, TJ = +25°C
- Ripple rejection is 70dB typ at f = 120Hz, COUT = 22µF, (VIN-VOUT) = 3V, IOUT = 300mA
- Temperature stability is 0.5% typ at VIN ≤ 10V, IOUT = 10mA, TJ = +25°C
- Thermal shutdown hysteresis is +16°C typ at VIN ≤ 10V, IOUT = 10mA, TJ = +25°C
