Product Overview
G-NICO-001 is a NI1000SOT nickel thin film resistance temperature detector sensor (RTD) suitable for use in contact temperature sensing. The device is manufactured by PVD-deposition on a silicon substrate. The thin film structure is covered by a passivation layer for environmental protection and enhanced stability. The nickel element is mounted on lead frames and encapsulated in SOT23 package. This technology allows the production of miniature, low cost, high precision temperature sensors. The characteristics of the temperature sensor comply with the former DIN 43760 standard. It is qualified for the most demanding automotive applications (incl. exposure to hot oil) and is suitable for many more applications in harsh environments. Application includes contract temperature sensing, control and compensation, general instrumentation, remote sensing.

- Basic resistance is 1000 ohm (0°C) typ
- Temperature coefficient of resistance is 6178ppm/K (0°C to +100°C) typ
- Resistance is 1617.8ohm at 100°C typ
- Resistance drift is 0.1% (1000h at 150°C) max
- Time constant is 0.5s typ (20 to 100°C)
- Operation temperature range from -55 to +165°C
