HSMW-A100-V40J1

The HSMW-A100-V40J1 is a surface-mount high brightness LED for use with electronic signs and signals. It has a substrate made up of a moulded plastic reflector sitting on top of a bent lead frame. The die is attached within the reflector cavity and the cavity is encapsulated by an Avago Technologies proprietary epoxy or silicone material. The PLCC SMT LED products with a viewing angle of 120° is ideal for instruments/switch/icon backlighting. With additional lens in 30° and 50° variants, this product is especially fitting to applications for traffic lights, CHMSL and displays. It's external reflector makes easy coupling with light pipe/light guide for an even-larger area backlighting. The high reliability feature is crucial to indoor ESS. The surface-mount LED is designed to be compatible with industrial reflow soldering process.
