Product Overview
The PN-DESIGNKIT-2 is the Port Note design kit for power over Ethernet (PoE) protection. The Port Note design kit is a selection of assorted circuit protection items conveniently packaged for easy access in a plastic box with bin guide. The Port Note solutions provide protection recommendations for typical port threats. Each Port Note solutions circuit protection design kit provides a simple, single page guide with essential information to provide an effective solution known to work in most typical applications. Information provided includes objectives, part numbers, compliance, schematics and much more. The power over Ethernet (PoE) interfaces combine two Vp-p differential signals and nominal 48Vdc power. This solution provides protection for both the data and power signals.
- Compliance to IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.11af and IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 (8KV/15KV)
- This solution provides protection for PoE without impairing the Ethernet signal
