Product Overview
The MAX808LESA+ is a microprocessor (μP) supervisory circuit with ±1.5% reset accuracy in 8 pin NSOIC package. This supervisory circuit monitors and controls the activities of 5V microprocessors by providing backup battery switchover, low line indication and μP reset. The MAX808 is intended for battery powered applications that require high reset threshold precision by allowing wide power supply operating range while preventing system from operating below its specified voltage range. The MAX808 is used in computers, controllers, intelligent instruments, critical μP power monitoring, battery powered equipment and embedded systems.
- Operating voltage range is 0V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- CMOS RAM write protection, low line threshold 52mV above reset threshold
- Reset threshold voltage of 4.675V and power-OK/reset time delay of 200ms
- MaxCap/SuperCap compatible
- Active-low, push-pull reset output and active-low RESET is valid to VCC = 1V
- On-board gating of chip enable signals
- Memory write cycle completion, 3ns CE gate propagation delay
- Supply current in normal operating mode is 48μA and standby current is 1μA
- Active-low RESET output voltage of 0.3V at VCC = 1.2V
