Product Overview
MAX6503UKN005+T low-cost, micropower fully integrated temperature switch which asserts a logic signal when their die temperature crosses a factory-programmed threshold. This device features two on-chip, temperature-dependent voltage references and a comparator. It has an active-low, open-drain output intended to interface with a microprocessor (µP) reset input. MAX6503 is offered with cold-temperature thresholds (-45°C to +15°C), asserting when the temperature is below the threshold. Application includes µP temperature monitoring in high-speed, computers, temperature control, temperature alarms, fan control.

- 0.3V maximum output voltage low ISINK = 1.2mA, VCC <gt/> 2.7V, TA = +25°C)
- 10nA typical open-drain output leakage current (active-low VTUNDER = 5.5V)
- 0.8V x VCC minimum HYST input threshold (VCC = +2.7V to +5.5V, TA = +25°C)
- 5 pin SOT23 package, operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C
