Product Overview
The MAX5402EUA+T is a 256-tap, µPoT, low-drift digital potentiometer in 8 pin µMAX package. This device functions as a mechanical potentiometer consisting of a fixed resistor string with a digitally controlled wiper contact. It provides glitchless switching between resistor taps as well as a convenient power-on reset (POR) that sets the wiper to the midscale position at power-up. MAX5402 is ideally suitable for digitally controlled resistors including adjustable voltage references and programmable gain amplifiers (PGAs).
- Supply voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Single linear digital potentiometer
- Ultra-low supply current of 0.1µA
- End to end resistance is 10Kohm at ±25% tolerance and temperature coefficient is 35ppm/°C
- Ratiometric resistance temperature coefficient is 5ppm/°C
