MAX4790EUS+T

The MAX4790EUS+T is a current limit switch in 4 pin SOT-143 package. This switch has internal current limiting to prevent damage to host devices due to faulty load conditions. It has 300mA maximum forward current limit and 300mA reverse current limit which makes the device as ideal for SDIO and other load switching applications. The MAX4790 has an autoretry feature where the switch turns off after blanking time and then continuously checks to see if the overload condition is present. The switch remains on after the overload condition disappears.

• Undervoltage lockout and thermal shutdown protection

• On-resistance of 0.2ohm at TA = +25°C, IOUT = 100mA
• Supply current of 80μA at VIN = 2.3V to 5V
• Maximum retry time of 420ms
• Fast current limit response time of 5μs
• Shutdown current of 0.01μA at VON = 0V
