Product Overview
The MAX4590EAE+ is a dual SPST, CMOS analogue switch in 16 pin SSOP package. The on-resistance of device is matched between switches to 0.4ohm (max) and is flat (0.4ohm max) over the specified signal range. All digital inputs have +0.8V and +2.4V logic thresholds ensuring TTL/CMOS logic compatibility when using a +12V single supply or ±15V dual supplies. This analogue switch is ideal in low distortion applications and is preferred solution over mechanical relays in automatic test equipment or an application where current switching is required as it has low power requirements, requires less board space and is more reliable than mechanical relays. This device is used in reed relay replacement, test equipment and PBX, PABX systems.
- Supply voltage range is 4.5V to 36V, ±4.5V to ±20V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Maximum on-resistance is 3ohm at TA = +25°C (single supply)
- Rail to rail signal handling
- ESD protection per method 3015.7 is <gt/> 2KV
- Maximum off-leakage current is only 2.5nA at +85°C and 0.5nA at TA = +25°C
- Two NO (normally open) switches
- Turn-on & turn-off time is 150ns & 200ns at TA = +25°C (single supply)
- Charge injection is 40pC at TA = +25°C & crosstalk is -65dB at TA = +25°C (single supply)
- On-capacitance is 275pF
