MAX3314ESA+

The MAX3314ESA+ is a 460Kbps, 1µA, RS232-compatible transceiver in 8 pin NSOIC package. This is a ±5V powered EIA/TIA-232-compatible interface, it has one transmitter and one receiver in a flow-through architecture. The transmitter has a low dropout output stage providing minimum RS232-compatible ±3.7V output levels while driving 3Kohm and 1000pf at 460Kbps. Both +5V and -5V are supplied externally. Device has a SHDN (complementary) function that reduces supply current to 1µA. The transmitter is disabled and put into 3-state mode while the receiver remains active. It is used in digital cameras, PDA, GPS, POS, telecommunications, handy terminals and set-top boxes.
