Product Overview
MAX14689AETB+T is an ultra-small, low-on-resistance (RON), double-pole/double-throw (DPDT) analogue switch. It features Beyond-the-Rails™ capability that allows signals from -5.5V to +5.5V to pass without distortion, even when the power supply is below the signal range. The MAX14689 is fully specified to operate from a single +1.6V to +5.5V power supply. Because of the low supply current requirement, VCC can be provided by a GPIO. When power is not applied, the switches go to a high impedance mode and all analogue signal ports can withstand signals from -5.5V to +5.5V. The switch is controlled with a single control bit, CB. Applications include smartphones, tablets, portable audio/video equipment, low-distortion signal switches.

- Power-supply rejection ratio is 80dB typ at RCOM=32ohm, f=20KHz
- On-Resistance is 0.25ohm typ at VCC=2.5V,VCOM=0V, ICOM=100mA
- On-resistance match between channels is 0.005ohm typ at VCC=2.5V, VNC=0V, ICOM=100mA
- On-resistance flatness is 0.001ohm typ at VCC=2.5V, ICOM=100mA, VCOM=-5.5V to 5.5V
- ESD protection on NC and NO, ±15KV human body model
- Low supply current 40µA (typ) at 1.6V
- Can be powered by GPIO, high-impedance mode when VCC not applied
- 10 TDFN-EP package
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
