Product Overview
LT1714 is a dual channel, ultrafast, comparator featuring rail-to-rail inputs, rail-to-rail complementary outputs and an output latch. It is designed for ease of use in a variety of systems. In addition to wide supply voltage flexibility, rail-to-rail input common mode range extends 100mV beyond both supply rails and the outputs are protected against phase reversal for inputs extending further beyond the rails. Also, the rail-to-rail inputs may be taken to opposite rails with no significant increase in input current. It is widely used in application such as high speed automatic test equipment, current sense for switching regulators, crystal oscillator circuits, high speed sampling circuits, high speed A/D converters, pulse width modulators, window comparators, extended range V/F converters, fast pulse height/width discriminators, line receivers, high speed triggers etc.
- Propagation delay is 7ns typ at (∆VIN = 100mV, VOVERDRIVE = 20mV)
- Small-signal voltage gain is 3V/mV typ
- Positive supply voltage is 2.4V to 7V
- Output latch, inputs can exceed supplies without phase reversal
- Input offset voltage is 0.5mV typ
- Input offset voltage drift is 5µV/°C typ
- Positive supply current (per comparator) is 5mA typ at (V+ = 5V, VOVERDRIVE = 1V)
- Input bias current is –1.5µA typ
- Operating temperature is –40°C to 85°C
- Package style is 16-lead plastic SSOP
