Product Overview
AD5689 is a nanoDAC+™ family, low power, dual 12bit, buffered voltage output digital to analogue converter (DAC). It also incorporates a power-on reset circuit and a RSTSEL pin that ensures that the DAC outputs power up to zero scale or midscale and remains there until a valid write takes place. Each part contains a per-channel power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 4µA at 3V while in power-down mode. Application includes base station power amplifiers, process control (PLC I/O cards), industrial automation, data acquisition systems.

- Zero-code error is 0.4mV (typ, all 0s loaded to DAC register, RL = 2kohm, CL = 200pF)
- Offset error is +0.1mV (typ, VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, RL = 2kohm, CL = 200pF)
- Gain error is ±0.02% of FSR (typ, VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V, VREF = 2.5V)
- Total unadjusted error is ±0.01% of FSR (Gain = 2, TSSOP, L = 2kohm, CL = 200pF)
- Capacitive load stability is 2nF (typ, RL = ∞, L = 2kohm, CL = 200pF)
- Power-up time is 2.5µs (typ, coming out of power-down mode, VDD = 5V, RL = 2kohm, CL = 200pF)
- 16-lead TSSOP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C
