The 132-2801-050 is a 50-conductor Twist 'N' Flat® Ribbon Cable, made of 28AWG tinned copper conductor, 0.050-inch centerline. The ribbon cable is consists of stranded round conductors insulated with colour-coded PVC, twisted into pairs and laminated between layers of PVC film to form a planar cable. The twist in adjacent pairs is reversed to reduce cable crosstalk even further. The cable features mass termination with the electrical performance of twisted pairs. Labor savings of up to 95% as compared to automatic strip and crimp termination are readily achieved.
