The 6130004040 is a Solvent Based Cleaner for use on printed circuit boards (PCB's) to efficiently remove light soiling such as thin oils, thermal paste, light flux residue, ink, solvent soluble coatings and grime. The PCB cleaner has excellent material compatibility and is specifically formulated for use on delicate electronics. It evaporates quickly, leaving a clean, dry and residue-free surface. When used in electronic servicing, PCB cleaner allows the engineer to remove any contaminants or residues which may have built-up on the board prior to diagnostic testing, reducing the risk of current seepage, arcing or false readings being generated. After servicing, PCB cleaner should be applied to provide a clean surface for the re-application of the conformal coating (if required) and re-installation. It is suitable for removal of grime from electrical components and efficient cleaning as part of scheduled maintenance.
