Product Description
The LaunchPad lets you leap right into the world of motor control using the InstaSPIN-MOTION or InstaSPIN-FOC solution. It is based on the Piccolo TMS320F28069M with unique features such as 256KB of onboard flash, 12-bit ADC, I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, dual Encoder support and InstaSPIN libraries in on-chip execute-only ROM memory.
It includes many board hardware features such as an integrated isolated XDS100v2 JTAG emulator for easy programming and debugging. The LaunchPad works with various BoosterPacks, but is specifically designed for the BOOSTXL-DRV8301.
Besides JTAG emulation, the USB interface provides a UART serial connection from the F2806x device to the host PC.
Users can download an unrestricted version of Code Composer Studio IDE version 6 to write, download, and debug applications on the LAUNCHXL-F28069M board. The debugger is unobtrusive, allowing the user to run an application at full speed with hardware breakpoints and single stepping available while consuming no extra hardware resources.
Emulator
USB debugging and a programming interface are available via the high-speed galvanically isolated XDS100v2 emulator, featuring a USB/UART connection.
InstaSPIN library
This is held in ROM, allowing implementation of InstaSPIN-MOTION and InstaSPIN-FOC solutions.
Device pins
Easily accessible device pins are available for debugging purposes or as sockets for adding customised extension boards.
