Product Description

TE Connectivity's new POWER TRIPLE LOCK connector product line has been specifically developed for better power and signal applications.

New features include an optional connector position assurance, an optional terminal position assurance, high temperature housings up to 150°C (302°F) and an upgraded lanceless contact design.

The 3-in-1 system has added security to help ensure connection stability in process and during lifecycle:

Audible 'lock' latch provides positive feedback when Cap & Plug are mated, while the ribs surrounding the latch prevent wires from becoming snagged underneath the latch.
Optional Connector Position Assurance (CPA) ensures that once engaged the Power Triple Lock connector system cannot be mistakenly disengaged.
Optional Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) ensures that contacts are fully seated within the housing and provides an added measure against contact backout.

Colour/key coding

The POWER TRIPLE LOCK connector system is available in three levels of housing materials with keying/color code to prevent mis-mating on the assembly line.

Anti-snag device

A latch on the plug housing prevents wires from becoming tangled under the latch.
