TE Connectivity’s Industrial Mini I/O connector system is a small, compact, latching, wire-to-board I/O interface that is now also available as a vertical version, so that you can safely and reliably connect in all angles.

Product Description
TE Connectivity’s Industrial Mini I/O connector system is a small, compact, latching, wire-to-board I/O interface that is now also available as a vertical version, enabling you to safely and reliably connect in all angles.
The connector is only one quarter the size of a conventional RJ45 plug, saving space and providing the flexibility to use limited space on the PCB more effectively.
Designed with two points of contact, the Industrial Mini I/O connector is built for the stringent demands of an industrial and high vibration environment, enabling increased productivity through a reliable connection.
The Mini I/O Field Installable version, featuring innovative piercing termination, decreases the time usually needed to terminate the wires through soldering and, with an easy-to-use hand tool, field assembly in virtually any environment is now possible.
The compact latching feature provides a high retention force of up to 98 N which protects the plug from accidental pull and unmating,
reducing downtime, unstable connections and unnecessary consequential losses.
The Industrial Mini I/O connector is available in two polarised versions to prevent mismating and ensure easy connection. It is most commonly used as an RJ45 replacement – and the newly available vertical version allows for even more connection opportunities.
