Created with the benefit of years of experience gained in the manufacture of a wide range of coils TDK have created a range of Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) Qi standard compliant Tx & RX ultra-flat power transmission coils. Making use of a unique extremely thin and flexible magnetic sheet TDKs coils allow for ultra thin, lightweight and shock proof design.
With an output current is on the order of 0.5 A to 0.6 A and an industry leading thickness of 0.57 mm these highly efficient wireless charging coils. As the Rx coil certification cannot be acquired unless the coil operates properly for all Tx types, TDK has designed an actual Rx coil unit which gives the user the most flexible and easy-to-use solution, advancing the development of a universal wireless charging system.
With the elimination of the need for a power socket provides designers with the potential for lighter, more rugged, sealed waterproof and dustproof devices.
