At Farnell we work closely with a number of universities to support young engineers in their study activities. From providing access to the state-of-the-art lab facilities at our Leeds headquarters to offering sponsorship opportunities to special projects and initiatives, we’re committed to helping the next generation of innovators to reach their full potential in this exciting and constantly evolving industry.
Our UK headquarters in Leeds houses dedicated electronic laboratory facilities, which we regularly open up to students of electronics and electrical engineering. These facilities offer a unique learning opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience working with sophisticated electronics equipment in a professional-standard environment.
Farnell is currently partnered with Leeds Beckett University (formerly Leeds Metropolitan University), providing access to our lab facilities for project work and an accredited course module for their Electronic and Engineering degree course. A team of experts from Farnell works closely with the students, providing ideas, input and support.
