LUXEON® M emitters are illumination grade LEDs. Designed to be optimized for either high efficiency or low cost these RoHS compliant LEDs can boast exceptional uniformity and flux density enabling street lighting optics and compact spot applications, as well as Freedom From Binning to provide designers with unparalleled flexibility in lighting design supported by Philips Lumileds proven track record of reliability.

Making use of fewer components allows LUXEON® M to reduce costs while their incredible reliability make them ideal for applications such as high and low bay lighting, downlights, lamps, spotlights, and indoor area lighting.

Hot tested at 85°C Philips Lumileds LUXEON M products will deliver, on average, 70% lumen maintenance (L70) at 50,000 hours of operation at a forward current of up to 700mA for LXRx-Sxxx and 1400mA for LXRx-Rxxx. This projection is based on constant current operation with junction temperature maintained at or below 135°C. This performance is based on Philips Lumileds historical data from tests run on similar material systems, and internal LM80 and reliability testing.

Philips Lumileds are committed to providing environmentally friendly products and LUXEON M is compliant to the European Union RoHS directive and will not intentionally add the following restricted materials to the LUXEON M:

• Hexavalent chromium
• Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
