Product Information
Product Overview
The XF-938-FAR is a platinum resistance temperature detector (RTD) manufactured by Labfacility. It uses a Pt1000 thin film element and is built to Class B accuracy standards. The sensor features a probe with extended leads, measuring 300 mm in length and 2mm in diameter, with a 2 Wire configuration and PTFE-insulated stranded conductors. The detector itself has dimensions of 2 mm x 10 mm (W x L) and offers a fast response time, making it suitable for air, surface, and immersion applications. It operates within a temperature range of –50 °C to +250 °C, with a resistance of 1000 Ω at 0 °C, and conforms to IEC 60751:2008 / BS EN 60751:2008 standards. The probe is vibration-resistant and designed for use in dry, non-contaminating atmospheres unless properly protected for immersion in fluids or corrosive environments.
