Murata’s new NXE1 series of cost-effective 1W Insulated DC/DC Converters have a profile 30% lower than the 7mm height industry norm, making them ideal for designs where space constraint is an issue.
The NXE1 has the additional advantage over competing SMD DC/DC converters of being manufactured using automated processes that greatly improve overall product reliability and deliver consistent performance characteristics. A transformer that is embedded in the substrate also contributes to the NXE1’s space-saving features, while enabling to price the series very competitively.
With an industry standard pin-compatible footprint, the series is the first choice for new compact applications and can replace products in existing designs. The series can be used across the full industrial temperature range from -40 to +85 degrees C.
This product series enjoys recognition under ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1, UL60950 and UL60101 standards and patents are pending.
