Multicomp has introduced a competitively priced range of ultrasonic sensors that are suitable for a wide range of measurement, detection and sonar applications. Typical uses include Level Measurement, Automation Control, Proximity, Obstacle Avoidance, Security Alarms, Robotics, Gas Sensing and Anemometer.

Product Description
A competitively priced range of ultrasonic sensors that are suitable for a wide range of measurement, detection and sonar applications has been introduced by Multicomp.
These include Level Measurement, Automation Control, Proximity, Obstacle Avoidance, Security Alarms, Robotics, Gas Sensing and Anemometer.
The open air transducers are constructed using piezo technology.
There are three types of transducer available – transmitters, receivers and transceivers. These are available with open type housing and enclosed (splash proof and IP65) type housing. Housing is also available in either aluminium or plastic with diameters from 10mm to 25mm.
Enclosed types are for applications where the sensor could be exposed to weather conditions and/or dust.
The available frequencies range from 38.3KHz through to 400KHz. The higher the frequency, the narrower the beam. These are suitable for accurate measurement and detection applications.
Typical applications
These include Level Measurement, Automation Control, Proximity, Obstacle Avoidance, Security Alarms, Robotics, Gas Sensing and Anemometer.
Open air transducers
These are constructed using piezo technology and are available as transmitters, receivers and transceivers.
Housing types
Choose from open type housing and enclosed (splash proof and IP65) type housing. Housing is also available in either aluminium or plastic with diameters from 10mm to 25mm.
