Molex Woodhead MAX-LOC Plus Shielded Cord-Grip Assemblies bring features usually found in multiple products into a single-product solution, giving cost and labour savings over conventional alternatives.
They allow OEMs and end users to simplify the installation process for high-volume, cost-sensitive programmes.
MAX-LOC Plus Shielded Cord-Grip Assemblies enable the connection of high-power electrical cables directly to an application via an exterior mounting enclosure.
A nickel-plated aluminium housing and shielding ring provide the best EMI & RFI protection. A unique grip-body internal cut-away design ensures a clear pass-through of preassembled harnesses and pre-crimped lugs through center and offset lugs plus a
simple assembly and field serviceability.
The internal wedge-shaped grommet also provides liquid and dust sealing and cable retention to withstand 50 pounds (222.4N)
pull force.
Contamination protection
The sealed O-ring is IP67 and IP69K rated to prevent moisture and dust contamination, meeting SAE industry standards.
Construction
Aluminium die-cast, nickel-plated threaded assembly. Strong, lightweight design for ease-of-use. Reduces galling (wear-and-transfer of material between the assembly and panel).
