Product Description

Vishay’s economical MKP1848C capacitor is optimised for industrial power applications, including renewable energy inverters, motor drives, and power supplies. It features high capacitance per volume and a very long life of > 100 000 hours at +70 °C, under nominal DC voltage.

The DC-link capacitor features low ESR down to 1.5 mΩ , low self inductance of < 1 nH per mm of lead spacing, high peak current capabilities up to 1560 A, high RMS current up to 55 A, and a capacitance density up to 1 µF / cm3.

The MKP1848C capacitor can be tailored to meet customer-specific needs. It has a flame-retardant plastic case with a resin seal, offers a maximum operating temperature of +105 °C and is RoHS-compliant, halogen-free, and Vishay Green. (The Vishay Green designation means that a component has less than 900 ppm of antinomy, has less than 100 ppm of red phosphorous, is halogen-free, and is RoHS-compliant without exemptions.)
