Lattice’s MachXO3 family offers what is believed to be the lowest cost per I/O of any FPGA on the market today and further distinguishes itself with on-chip 3.125 Gbps SERDES capabilities, as well as IP resources for bridging emerging interfaces such as MIPI, PCIe, GbE.
- Available in amazingly small WLCSP packages from 2.50 mm x 2.50 mm and BGA packages with 0.50 mm and 0.80 mm pitch
- Instant-on 1 ms boot-up with dual boot and background upgrade
- Available with low voltage 1.2 V or 3.3/2.5 V cores
- High IO to LUT ratio with up to 335 IO pins
- Add SPI, I2C, CSI-2 and DSI interfaces to legacy designs

Product Description
Lattice’s MachXO3 family offers what is believed to be the lowest cost per I/O of any FPGA on the market today and further distinguishes itself with on-chip 3.125 Gbps SERDES capabilities, as well as IP resources for bridging emerging interfaces such as MIPI, PCIe, GbE.
It contains both the Lattice X03L-2100 device in a 49-ball WLCSP and the Lattice X03L-6900 device in a 256-ball caBGA package.
The XO3L-2100 section is optimized for MIPI D-PHY receiver and transmitter interfaces, while the XO3L-6900 section provides a flexible I/O evaluation environment for SubLVDS, FPD-LINK, FPC-LINK, MIPI D-PHY as well as other source-synchronous type protocols.
The MachXO3 family is available with DSI connectors (LCMXO3L-DSI-EVN) or SMA (LCMXO3L-SMA-EVN) connectors. It can evaluate CMOS I/Os, MIPI DSI, CSI-2 Tx and Rx capability, LED driving capability, programming via JTAG or I2C, and SPI flash operation.

Evaluate CMOS I/Os, MIPI DSI, CSI-2 Tx and Rx capability, LED driving capability, programming via JTAG or I2C, SPI flash operation. The SMA board also enables the evaluation of high-speed differential I/Os.
