- Cyclone V SoC evaluation board
- ARM-based dual-core Hard Processor System (HPS)
- 1GB DDR3 SDRAM
- 4GB eMMC Flash and a Transflash card slot for mass storage

Product Description
The Lark Board features a 5CSXFC6D6 SoC FPGA – the largest SoC device in the Cyclone V SX family. The Cyclone V SoC integrates a FPGA and ARM-based dual-core Hard Processor System (HPS) in a single package and operates at speeds up to 800 MHz.
Having both technologies in one package reduces the overall system cost and power consumption. They are coupled together through ARM’s AXI high-speed interconnect backbone.
The Lark Board features 1GB DDR3 SDRAM for the HPS and FPGA plus 4GB eMMC Flash and a Transflash card slot for mass storage. It features several standard I/O interfaces including PCI Express, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, VGA, 24-bit LCD, a 12-bit camera interface, USB2.0 Host ports, UART, JTAG, and 3G SDI. The Lark Board uses an Altera Enpirion® power solution to provide a stable and efficient output for all the Cyclone V power rails.
The Lark Board also features a USB Blaster II for FPGA debugging. The onboard USB Blaster supports Quartus II and ARM DS-5 development environments. It comes pre-installed with Yocto, an embedded distribution of Linux. Other versions of Linux are available to download online.
