Lapp ÖLFLEX® SERVO FD Cable
The new ÖLFLEX® SERVO FD 796 CP motor cable can replace seven existing servo motor cables at once, offering users a whole range of additional benefits.

Product Description
Running automated machinery involves many positional changes and speed variations – this is where the new premium cable from Lapp proves its worth. With an acceleration of up to 50m/s² and speeds of up to 5m/s and travel distances up to 100m, the ÖLFLEX® SERVO FD 796 CP offers a significantly faster and more efficient operation than previous servo chain cables. The proportional run-up and braking times have also been reduced by up to 96%.
The low capacitance polyolefin insulation assures lower EM-effective leakage currents while simultaneously providing extremely high dielectric and electrical strength. It is halogen-free and flame retardant and meets the key UL & CSA approval, including VW-1 and FT1.
ÖLFLEX® SERVO FD 796 CP also offers an exceptionally long service life, is compact and lightweight.
Applications
Connecting cable between servo controller and motor; In power chains or moving machine parts; For use in assembling and pick-and-place machinery, particularly in wet areas of machine tools and transfer lines; Assembly lines, production lines, in all kinds of machines.
Construction
Extra-fine wire strand made of bare copper wires (class 6); Core insulation: polypropylene (PP); Individual design depending on the item: power cores with or without one or two individually screened control core pairs twisted together in short lay lengths; Non-woven wrapping; Tinned-copper braiding; PUR outer sheath, orange (RAL 2003).
