AWS and Farnell collaboration update
AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Farnell's parent company, Avnet, Inc. signed a global strategic collaboration agreement in June 2022. This multi-year joint investment is focused on helping Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of IoT solutions accelerate their time to market. Among many other benefits to Farnell customers, this will result in a version of Farnell IoTConnect Solution Accelerator Software on AWS infrastructure. IoTConnect significantly accelerates development and reduces time to market for OEMs creating IoT-connected solutions by more than 50%.
