Product Description
HAMEG’s HMP series of programmable power supplies are available with two, three or four channels, with a total operating performance of 188 or 384 W.
Up to 80 or 160 watts are available per channel, depending on the model. The HMP2020 model also offers you a 160 watt channel in addition to the 80 W channel.
In the HMP series, the measured output voltage and current as well as the resulting output power are displayed in real time.
The HMP series features low residual ripple ( < 150 µV), high set/readback resolution, electrically isolated ungrounded outputs and adjustable overvoltage protection (OVP) at all outputs.
EasyArb function
On HAMEG instruments, EasyArb is the time/current flow or time/voltage curve that is freely programmable by channel. The process can be programmed either via remote software or directly on the instrument. Several different, independently programmable EasyArb curves can run at the same time.
Advanced parallel operation mode
This lets you combine the channels to achieve higher currents. The integrated power management function also ensures an intelligent power distribution over each channel.
Serial operation mode
The serial operation mode lets you combine the channels, up to a maximum 120 volts. The instrument’s V/I tracking function is also available in this mode.
FuseLink (electronic fuse)
This mode is freely combinable for all channels, with overcurrent or voltage surge protection individually adjustable for each channel. The overcurrent protection of other channels can be mixed in any combination. For instance, a channel with a connected fan can run while all other channels are switched off.
Ease of connection
Front connectors consist of 4mm safety sockets and there are rear connectors for all channels including SENSE.
Interface
RS-232/USB dual interface, remote control via SCPI based commands.
