Product Description
The KE02Z Freedom Platform is a low cost robust development platform built round the Kinetis E Series of microcontrollers. Designed with noisy applications in mind the KE02Z is ideal for developing for on the go applications such as industrial controls as well as remote communication and battery powered devices.
With the industry’s most robust 5V tolerant MCU this is the industry’s first ARM Cortex-M0+ core based and Arduino compatible platform. Easy-to-use and quick to get started, packed with features including:
- Easy-to-use mass-storage device mode flash programmer
- Virtual Serial Port
- NXP inertial sensor
- Capacitive touch slider
- Reset pushbutton
- IR Communication
- Thermistor
- RGB LED
- Motor control function interface for simple BLDC motor control
- I/O headers for easy access to MCU I/O pins
- Arduino shield form factor compatible headers
- Integrated open-standard serial and debug interface (OpenSDA)
OpenSDA provides developers with a huge amount of flexibility with serial communications, flash programming, and run-control debugging. While an extensive ecosystem of development tools mean you can get straight to work.
Software development tool options include:
- CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers
