Product Overview

The Fluke PRV240FS Proving Unit is a portable, pocket-sized, battery-powered voltage source. It is specifically built to prove thefunctionality of the FieldSense measurement on the T6 electrical testers. It also provides ac and dc voltages for other HiZ instruments in your tool box. Using the PRV240FS reduces the risk of shock and arc flash by validating the functionality of test tools without placing yourself in a potentially hazardous electrical environment.
  • Can prove functionality of the FieldSense measurement on the T6 electrical testers
  • Sources both ac and dc steady-state voltage-supplies 240 V dc/ac.
  • A single switch and a set of LEDS indicate functionality of both FieldSense no-test-lead voltage measurement capability, plus standard ac and dc measurements
  • Compatible with high impedance multimeters or clamp meters.
  • Voltage is sourced through a central hub designed to test the T6 FieldSense open fork
  • Operating humidity range from 0% to 90% (0°C to 35°C), operating altitude is 2000m
  • Dimension is 11.7cm x 7.4cm x 4.5cm (4.6in x 2.9in x 1.75in), weight is 0.23Kg includes batteries
  • IEC61010-1, IEC61010-2-030 safety approval
  • Compatible with both high impedance or low impedance multimeters, clamp meters or two pole testers
  • Voltage is sourced through recessed contacts that are activated when tested probes are inserted
