EA -PS 9000 and PSI 9000 2U and 3U Bench Power Supplies
EA has introduced two series of microprocessor-controlled bench power supplies, both of which come available as 2U and 3U 19-inch rackmount versions.

- Output Voltage: 0-40V up to 0-1500V
- Output Current: 0-4 up to 0-510A
- MPU controlled, up to 16-bit resolution
- Flexible auto-ranging output, constant U, I, P mode + R Mode (PSI)
- On-board isolated analogue interface (0-5/0-10V), USB and Ethernet (PS)
- On-board isolated analogue interface (0-5/0-10V), USB and Plug and Play slot (PSI)
Product Description
EA has introduced two series of microprocessor-controlled bench power supplies, both of which come available as 2U and 3U 19-inch rackmount versions.
The EA-PS 9000 and PSI 9000 series both feature user-friendly controls, with the EA-PS9000 featuring two rotary knobs, six pushbuttons and two LEDS with an illuminated blue LC display. It has up to four-digit display resolution and enables a highly stable and low ripple output condition with fast dynamic response.
All models have a flexible auto-ranging output stage, which enables higher voltage and lower current or vice versa, limited to the nominal maximum output power.
For external automated control, the EA-PS9000 comes with “on-board” three-channel isolated interface (analogue 0-5V/0-10V, USB and Ethernet). This series is an ideal “low-emission” tool for laboratory and industrial application environment, for R&D, automated testing and 19” cabinet system integration.
The PSI 9000 features a high-performance FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) controller and 16-bit resolution and a comfortable touch panel with multiple
functions such as a function generator, memory, up to four digits display resolution and an easy-to-operate intuitive task-menu structure.
It provides for a highly stable and low ripple output condition with fast dynamic response. For external automated control, it comes with on-board isolated 0-5V/0-10V analogue and USB interface. Optionally available interfaces include CANopen, Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus RS232 and others.
Analogue interface
A galvanically isolated analogue interface terminal enabling control and monitoring of inputs and outputs.
Protective features
Protection thresholds can be set for overvoltage, overcurrent and overpower, so that DC output is automatically shut off and a status message generated. There is also an overtemperature cutoff.
Digital interfaces
All models feature galvanically isolated digital interfaces (PS 1xLAN, 1xUSB, PSI 1 x USB) by default.
