Product Description
C.K has introduced a range of high-power torches using Cree LED technology aimed at technicians and other professional users.
Until recent years high performance hand torches were big heavy and cumbersome due to the use of incandescent bulbs which are not particularly energy-efficient and waste much of the available battery power as heat.
LEDs have become more common in torches in recent years because they generate virtually no heat and convert most of the energy into useable light making them far more efficient than incandescent bulbs.
This enables much smaller and lighter torches since they typically only need AA/AAA batteries rather than bulky C or D types.
