Product Information
Product Overview
AD5541 is a single channel, 16bit, serial input, voltage output digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). It operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The DAC output range extends from 0V to VREF. It can be operated in bipolar mode, which generates a ±VREF output swing. It also includes kelvin sense connections for the reference and analogue ground pins to reduce layout sensitivity. It utilizes a versatile 3-wire interface that is compatible with SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™ and DSP interface standards. It is widely used in application such as digital gain and offset adjustment, automatic test equipment, data acquisition systems, industrial process control etc.
- Relative accuracy (INL) is ±4LSB
- Differential nonlinearity (DNL) is ±1LSB
- Resolution is 16bits, settling time is 1µs
- Power dissipation is 0.625mW typ
- Unbuffered voltage output capable of driving 60Kohm loads directly
- Power-on reset clears DAC output to 0V (unipolar mode)
- 5kV HBM ESD classification, low glitch is 1.1nV-sec
- Slew rate is 7V/μs typ at (CL = 10pF, measured from 0% to 63%)
- Operating temperature range is −40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 8-lead SOIC-N
