Product Description

Amphenol are setting a new standard for RoHS compliant connectors with the Black Zinc Nickel plated MIL-DTL-38999. Designed for defence industry applications these hard wearing connectors will ensure high levels of EMC screening can be maintained within sensitive systems in demanding situation making them ideal for applications including:

Independently tested for mechanical, electrical, electronic and environmental endurance; as well as salt spray testing in accordance with EIA-364-26 up to 2000hrs MIL-DTL-38999 can boast shell-to-shell continuity of less than 2.5mΩ and less than 5mΩ after 500hrs salt spray chamber time, an operational temperature range of -65° to +175°C and No significant galvanic reaction with cadmium, zinc cobalt or electroless nickel plated parts.

Alternative to Cadmium Plating

With the tightening environmental regulations seeking to reduce or eliminate the use of Cadmium, Black Zinc Nickel plating provides great electrical performance and sustainable environmental performance.

Extraordinary Resilient

Tested for shell-to-shell continuity of less than 2.5mΩ and less than 5mΩ after 500hrs salt spray chamber time and over 500 mechanical mating cycles, with an operational temperature range of -65° to +175°C.

Independently Tested

All connectors are extensively tested at a BSI Approved fully independent on-site test facility including a salt spray testing chamber to carry out testing in accordance with EIA-364-26 up to 2000hrs.
