Aim-TTI PSA Series II Spectrum Analyser

The PSA Series II RF Spectrum Analyser a genuinely Handheld device. A typical hand-held spectrum analyzer is 26cm x 17cm and over 2kg in weight, by comparison the PSA Series II is 19cm x 9.2cm and less than 0.6kg. Equally at home on a bench or in the field this rugged spectrum analyser had both touch-screen and hard-key control.

Its backlit colour 4.3” TFT display hosts a clear and intuitive user interface making tracking of multiple traces, markers and limit lines easy. Plus with nearly 2GB internal memory you can store thousands of waveforms, instrument set-ups or complete screen images. With the Series II USB port memory can easily be extended with the use of a handy flash drive or connect direct to your PC for easily file transfer and analysis.

Available in 1.3GHz and 2.7GHz versions the PSA1302 has a frequency range of 1MHz to 1300MHz whilst the PSA2702 operates up to 2700MHz. Dynamic range is 80dB with a noise floor approaching -100dBm. Resolution bandwidth is selectable down to 15kHz. Sweep modes include continuous, single, peak hold and sweep average. A zero span mode with AM or FM audio demodulation is also provided using a built-in speaker.

Packed with a Li-ion rechargeable battery the PSA Series II provides up to 8 hours of continuous operation but if powered down to conserve energy can be powered up with all data retained within 2 seconds. Using an AC adaptor the Series II is easily set up for continuous bench operation or fully recharged in less than 3 hours.
